Potassium phosphite has bactericidal and disease-resistant properties, and can also supplement phosphorus and potassium. It has good water solubility and can be mixed with various nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and trace elements. Potassium phosphite looks similar to potassium dihydrogen phosphate, but it cannot replace potassium dihydrogen phosphate in the fertilizer industry. Its usage methods and dosages also differ from ordinary trace element fertilizers. When compounded with other trace elements or organic fertilizers, care must be taken to prevent antagonism or precipitation. As a foliar fertilizer, it should not be used in excessive amounts, otherwise it may easily burn leaves.

Mechanism of Action

1. KH2PO3 contains trivalent phosphorus. Low phosphorus content can destroy the active proteins or proteases of harmful microorganisms, bacteria, and fungi, thus providing a longer-lasting disease-resistant and bactericidal effect.

2. After being absorbed by crops, potassium phosphite can stimulate the crop's active immune defense system, promoting the production of polyphenols, phytoprotective hormones, and reactive antioxidants, thereby resisting the invasion of viruses and microorganisms. Simultaneously, it can induce cells to produce lignin, increasing cell wall thickness and enhancing the crop's resistance to harmful microorganisms.

3. After crops absorb trivalent phosphorus, it may have a positive regulatory effect on plant functions, effectively controlling growth, regulating stomatal closure, and promoting the maturation of new shoots and the greening of young fruits.

Product Characteristics

1. High Solubility: Based on the solid-water ratio, potassium phosphite has a solubility of up to 150g/100ml water, classifying it as a highly soluble phosphorus and potassium fertilizer.

2. Can be Mixed with Various Fertilizers: It can be mixed with common fertilizers such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and silicon fertilizers. With appropriate additives, it can also be mixed with micronutrient fertilizers such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and zinc.

3. Harmless and Residue-Free: After spraying, rinsing, and irrigation, the final phosphorus and potassium fertilizer is formed, providing essential nutrients for crops without any harmful residues.

4. Wide Range of Applications: Suitable for crops such as citrus, apples, pears, cucumbers, melons, watermelons, scallions, cherries, grapes, strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, leafy vegetables, potatoes, rice, and wheat. It has good control effects on diseases such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, black spot, Phytophthora blight, and root rot.

Storage and Transportation Packaging

250 or 300 kg/drum; avoid storage with oxidizing chemicals; use as soon as possible after opening.

Potassium phosphate has the effects of improving soil environment, inhibiting bacteria, controlling pests, enhancing crop disease resistance, promoting crop root development, strengthening plants, promoting flowering and fruiting, and increasing yield. It has significant effects on fungi and bacteria, and also has a certain control effect on difficult-to-eradicate pathogens such as canker and anthracnose.
