Mechanism of action

1, Tetrakis hydroxymethyl phosphonium sulfateis a cationic group type fungicide with a positive charge. Since the phosphorus atom in the molecule is positive 5 valence, four hydroxymethyl-CH2OH - have only four negative charges. Usually dissolved in water, the free group forms a cation with a positive charge. This makes it a cationic fungicide.

2, Tetrakis hydroxymethyl phosphonium sulfate contains four hydroxyl groups,the role of hydroxyl groups is to destroy microbial cell membranes and proteins, inhibit enzyme activity, so as to achieve the role of killing microorganisms.
