DOS, DOA, and DOZ plasticizers belong to the aliphatic diester class of plasticizers. They contain two alkyl groups and are characterized by excellent cold resistance, non-toxicity, and low volatility. However, they have poor compatibility with PVC and can only be used as auxiliary plasticizers. Aluminum hypophosphite can be used as a synergist to flame-retard PVC. DOS, DOA, and DOZ plasticizers often involve esterification of long-chain dicarboxylic acids with short-chain diols, or short-chain dicarboxylic acids with long-chain monohydric alcohols, to maintain a total carbon number between 18 and 26. This ensures good compatibility between the plasticizer and the resin, as well as low-temperature volatility.

1,Dioctyl azelaic acid (DOZ). Good compatibility with polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, polystyrene, polyvinyl acetate, cellulose acetate butyrate, cellulose nitrate, ethyl cellulose, etc.Its low viscosity,high boiling point, high plasticizing efficiency,small water extraction, small volatility and migration, and has excellent heat resistance, light resistance, electrical insulation and stability,cold resistance than dioctyl adipate (DOA) better. This product can also be used alone or in combination with other plasticizers as a plasticizer for synthetic rubber such as nitrile butadiene rubber, styrene butadiene rubber and neoprene rubber.

2,Dioctyl sebacate (DOS). Excellent low temperature plasticizer,excellent cold resistance, very low volatility,it can also be safely formed at a higher temperature, but easy to migrate, easy to draw, the price is relatively high.

3,Dioctyl adipate (DOA). It is atypical cold-resistant plasticizer of polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene copolymer,  polystyrene,  cellulose  nitrate,  ethyl  cellulose  and  synthetic  rubber,with high plasticizing efficiency and small heat discoloration, which can give products good low softness and light resistance.It can be used as an excellent cold-resistant plasticizer of PVC, which can give products excellent low gentleness and softness, and show excellent lubricity when extrusion molding, and the products feel good.
